Sunday Page–Naughty or Nice

This is a layout I created for a swap I am in. I love how it turned out. The layout is a mish-mash of several different Christmases.

Scentsational Saturday

As I mentioned in a previous post, I am a consultant for Scentsy. I love the product: it is a safer alternative to candles and it smells GREAT! There are only a few days left to get the Warmer of the month at a discounted price. It is my favorite (it combines my favorite scents with my favorite pictures). If you would like to order one of these, visit my website here.

Autumn Princess

I am challenging myself to take more pictures…of my kids, of nature, of anything that really strikes my fancy. I am going to post a couple of pictures, once a week…this is my challenge to me.

Heart 2 Heart Halloween

This week, the Heart 2 Heart challenge is to create something for autumn or Halloween. I did this layout of the kids. These pictures were taken on Halloween in 2009, so it was time to get them on a page. Thanks for the challenge, H2H!

Blog Award

Last week, I was awarded a blog award by a great friend (whom I have never met!). It is the Liebster Blog Award and the word Liebster means beloved or favorite. Thank you so much, Carolyn. You should go and check out her yummy craftiness here.

Here are the rules to accept this award:

1. Thank the giver and link back to the blogger who gave it to you.
2. Reveal your top 5 picks and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog. These picks must have fewer than 200 followers on their blog.
3. Copy and paste the award on your blog.
4. Have faith that your followers will spread the love to other bloggers.
5. And most of all - have fun!

Without further ado, here are just a few of the fabulous blogs that I follow.

Heather at Creative Cocount
Nikka at Create Your Vision
Sharon at Oak Island Stamp Queen
Emily at Faith, Hope and Art
Tonya at In All Sassiness

Take a minute to check out these ladies blogs. They are amazingly talented. You won’t be disappointed.

Heart 2 Heart–Journaling Challenge

I made this layout for a challenge over at the Heart 2 Heart challenge site. I am not very good at journaling. I love to scrapbook, but I feel as though my words will not give the pages justice. I don’t really mind how this one turned out and I really did have a story to tell. It is a layout of my daughter, Roo Bear and my nephew. They are only a few weeks apart in age, so they spent a lot of time together, carseat to carseat.

New Blog Directions

I haven’t been a very good blogger, and though I apologize over and over, it doesn’t get batter. I would like to be that person who has a new post every day, so I thought I would try something different.
I am giving myself challenges and different things to post each day. Here is my new schedule:
Monday – Close to My Heart Day
Tuesday – Anything Day
Wednesday –   Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge
Thursday – H2H Challenge
 Friday – Photograph Friday
Saturday -  Scentsational Saturday (I am also a consultant for Scentsy and will allot one day for that as well)                                                       Sunday – Sunday Pages
I know it is unrealistic to post every day, and I do want to keep things real. I will miss some posts sometimes, as life does get in the way of our plans once in awhile, but I will do my best to be a good blogger.
Thanks for sticking in there with me!

First Day for Dolly!

Yesterday I posted a layout of Will J’s first day of school. I used the same kit to do a layout of Dolly’s first day of school. Here she is on her first day of kindergarten and she could not wait to go to school with her brother!PA200021PA200022PA200020

As I said, I used the From Me to You kit to make these pages.

First Day

I have been working on layouts recently. When I started making cards, I pretty much stopped doing layouts and now I am really far behind. Here is a layout I did for Will J’s first day of school. He was going to PreK and he was only three years old. I was really sad, but he was so excited to go on the school bus!

I used a CTMH kit that was a campaign in the spring called From Me to You. It was the first thing I used with the new thick papers and was a lot of fun to play with.
