Live Inspired Frame

I love the way this frame turned out. It was fairly quick and simple to make and yet, I think it looks really elegant. It was my first attempt at Staz-On and it may be one of my new favorite things to use. It is inked on the outside of the glass, and while the picture does not do it justice, it gives it some dimension.

Tickled Pink and Pinker!

One of my all-time favorite paper packs from CTMH has to be Tickled Pink. The stamp set that it came with is also definitely in my top 5! I have some new paper on it’s way from the paper sale, so I thought it was time to use up some of my older paper. Picking through it, I pulled out the Tickled Pink bag and challenged myself to use it all up before the new stuff got here. We shall see if I can do it! Today I created a journal. My mom and my friend and I are going to the Woman’s Journey of Faith conference in November. We get to stay in a hotel and I am so excited. I thought I would make them bit up a goodie bag and am putting a journal in each one. This one is for me, but I plan on making them both one as well…with different paper, of course because this package will be all gone ;)

Heart 2 Heart Challenge #5

The challenge at the Heart 2 Heart blog for this week was to create something for Mother’s Day. I had not made my mom a card yet, so this was just the push I needed to get me into the scrap room to create something special just for her. I started a few projects and quit half way through because I was not happy with how they were turning out. I ended up making her a teacup card, which has a real tea bag in it for her to enjoy. Who am I kidding…she will never take it apart and drink the tea!

Cards for Purse Box

I made some greeting cards to match the purse box that I made for my mother-in-law’s birthday. They are very simple cards, but I did not want anything too fancy to take away from the purse itself. I know she will like them and who can’t use some extra cards, right?

I again, used the Martha Stewart paper.

Both of the sentiments ( Happy Birthday and Best Wishes), as well as the frame around the sentiments are SU!

I used the SU! scalloped circle punch and the build-a-brads to make the flowers at the bottom.

The insides of the cards are blank, allowing for more writing.

I paired these with envelopes and put them inside the purse for a perfect little gift.

I am hoping to make some more purses today and use up this paper. I will post them tomorrow.
