To be completely honest, I was stumped when it came to this particular paper packet. It was certainly not my favorite and I had to go searching for inspiration. Back to Pinterest I went, where I found a lovely card, created again, by the talented Allisa Chilton. This card was loosely based on her pattern and it gave me a new appreciation for this paper pack.

I was wandering through Pinterest again and came across a card made with the Clementine paper pack. I had to make my own version of it. The original card was done by Allisa Chilton and can be seen on her blog here. I used the new burlap ribbon, which is my absolute favorite new product. I can’t get enough of it.

Avonlea is probably my favourite paper pack in the new catalogue. It is so pretty without being super girly. There are definitely patterns I could use to make more masculine things as well. Here is a simple card that I created with the Avonlea paper. I totally cased it from another consultant….Kristine Porter. I found it on Pinterest and loved it, so I made one for myself. You can see Kristine’s version here.

My brother and his family have always lived very near to us. When we moved to Conquest three years ago, we were 45 minutes away and that is the farthest we have ever been. Needless to say, the kids are all very close.
Well, this past summer, my brother, his wife and their four kids moved away…far away…like a whole different province away. We miss them so much.
I saw the challenge for this week at Heart2Heart and it was to create something for someone you are thankful for. We are thankful for all the years we had living close to them and now we are thankful for the times we are able to get together with them.

I didn’t have time to do a page layout this week, but I did make several cards. Cards are easier for me because I can do them on my down time at work. I can’t very well pack all of the supplies I need to do pages, but I can take along stuff for card making. I decided to make cards with the Pair-A-Phrase stamp set and boy, did I make a lot of cards.
In fact, I have an extra set of 10 cards to give away. If you would like a chance to win them, all you need to do is become a follower of this blog and like my facebook page.

- 4x4
- Orange, brown & pink theme
- 2 cardstocks in 2 of the above colors
- 1 b&t in the remaining color (ie. if you use brown & orange cardstock, then please use pink b&t)

Today, my nephew, Jaxon, is three. He is crazy about trains and as I looked through my stamps, I realized I did not have a single one with trains (must rectify that real soon)! So, I shrunk a coloring page and printed it out and paper pieced it. I am alright with how it turned out. And Jaxon is three, so he really won’t care about the card at all Happy Birthday, buddy! We sure are going to miss you when you move away to Alberta!
