I remember playing this song in my high school jazz band. We actually won a provincial competition with this song. It has a tune that is etched in memory forever. Susie Noel did a great job of capturing the essence of the song on this layout done with the Splendor paper. My four year old daughter love love loves this layout, and do you want to know why? Simply because there is a worm on it and that is what she noticed. How funny is that?

A “Splendor”ous Day, as Promised!

Wow, two day in a row…knock on wood! I am back with another fabulous layout, by another fabulous lady. She is my CTMH sister and she is very creative. Here is what she created for us:

This layout was created by Tina Winship. Though she only lives a couple of hours away from me, I have never met her. Maybe I will one day. She created this “Summer Fun” layout using the Splendor paper packet.

Simple Saturday

Each week, I am going to be making a very simple, quick card to post for Simple Saturday. I like to get pretty detailed in most of my artwork, so I thought I would challenge myself to create some simple projects, less ink, less embellishing…etc. These are the kinds of cards that would be good to use as projects at my classes because they would be great for all crafting levels. I am a sucker for brads! When I saw these in the new catalog it was love at first sight. I am a big fan of the SU! Build-a-brad because I could make them match my project. Well, these brads are a perfect match to the new Splendor paper and the textures and sizes are so great. I will be getting many of these because one set is just not enough love for me.
